Hotta EMC Consulting (hereinafter “the Consultant”) establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter “Policy”) regarding the handling of personal information of users of the services provided on this website (hereinafter “Services”).

  • Payment & Billing Data: Credit card billing address and related transaction details required for billing. Please note that your full payment card numbers and security codes are processed directly and securely by Stripe, Inc. and are never stored on or accessible by our servers.

Article 3 (Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing)

We use and process your personal data for the following specific purposes based on lawful legal grounds:

  1. To Perform Our Services: To conduct EMC consulting, analyze technical data, and manage contracts. (Legal Basis: Performance of a contract)

The Consultant shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the purpose of use is relevant to the purpose before the change.

Article 5 (Third-Party Data Sharing)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share necessary billing data with Stripe, Inc. securely to process authorized credit card payments, holds, and captures. Stripe processes this data as an independent data controller in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Your Technical & Project Data (such as circuit diagrams and PCB layouts) is strictly confidential and will never be shared with any third party, including Stripe.

Article 6 (International Data Transfers & Data Security)

International Data Transfers:
As the Consultant is located in Japan, any personal and technical data you provide will be transferred to, stored, and processed in Japan. For users in the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA), Japan has been recognized by the UK government and the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection (Adequacy Decision), ensuring your data remains legally protected.

Data Security for Technical Files:
We implement robust technical and organizational security measures to protect your high-value technical files from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. These files are stored on secure local systems or secure servers located in Japan with restricted access.
